How can I increase my chances of winning the National Lottery EuroMillions Draw ??

This is not a scam or a gimmick, but a sure-fire way of increasing your odds of winning a prize on the UK National Lottery's EuroMillions Draw through joining an online National Lottery Syndicate. It is run by a reputable provider and has been working as an online syndicate entry system for several years. We were intrigued when we found out about it and have been successfully promoting the system since January 2004. Although we have not yet won a million, we do win regularly - normally one prize at least every 13 draws. We know our numbers in each draw and are therefore able to verify that we receive the full benefit of any prizes.

The UK National Lottery's EuroMillions Draw is shown at 11:35pm every Friday on BBC One. Tim Vincent and Sarah Cawood are taking it in turns to present the show, which is produced by Initial (an Endemol UK company).  Past hosts have included James McCourt and comedian Nick Hancock.

Surely there are lots of systems that promise to help me win the Lottery

There are several other programmes and systems which promise to increase the odds of winning the lottery, some of which require regular updates of the latest winning numbers, to try and work out the most common numbers. However, when it is an entirely random draw, every ball has the same odds of being included in the winning lottery numbers. You must also ask yourself one main question - if a computer program works to provide you with the winning lottery numbers, why does the author need to sell it when they could just live on their weekly winnings??

How to win the Friday EuroMillions Lottery Draw.

There is no great secret for success in winning a really big lottery prize and sorting all your financial worries in one foul swoop. Anybody can manage it.

All you have to do is buy a ticket with the numbers that are going to be drawn at the next draw. If you do this I can GUARANTEE you will win the lottery (oh, if only).  Alas, not all of us have a fully working guaranteed crystal ball with which to see into the future, nor can we borrow Dr. Who's Tardis and pop forward a week or so to jot down the winning numbers, so we need to find a way of reducing the odds against us.

As you can see from the table below, the odds of winning a jackpot on Euro Millions are huge - indeed it has been pointed out by bookies that they would offer you better odds on John Prescott winning a Gold Medal at the next Olympic games.

On a more serious note, there is no sure-fire method of ensuring that you win a prize in the EuroMillions draw, let alone the jackpot - however, by using an online syndicate scheme, you can increase the odds of winning by up to 3600% (and reduce the odds of winning a prize to 1 in 13 draws).

What is the EuroMillions Draw?

Camelot (who run the UK National Lottery) joined forces some years ago with the national lotteries of France and Spain to run the weekly EuroMillions draw, a Euro lottery system which offers a jackpot in the region of 15 million pounds (20 million euros) each Friday. More countries soon joined the draw, including Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland making itpotentially the biggest tax-free, lump-sum lottery the world has ever seen!

The Euro Millions draw is slightly different to the UK Lotto draw, in that there are 12 different cash prize categories. To scoop the Euro Millions jackpot you need to match 5 main numbers from 1 to 50 and two additional Lucky Star numbers from 1 to 9 drawn from a separate drum.  It costs £2 per line.

Prizes are awarded for matching 3,4 or 5 main numbers; or 2,3,4 or 5 main numbers plus one Lucky Star number; or 1,2,3,4 or 5 main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers. Although the chances of winning the jackpot are less than winning the UK Lotto jackpot (around 1 in 76 million), the odds of winning any prize at all are a lot better at 1 in 24. You can play the UK national lottery, EuroMillions draw and Daily Play online at The National Lottery Website, or you might want to join one of the online syndicate schemes which offer to improve your chances of winning the lottery.

There is however, an extra benefit to playing in EuroMillions - each entry provides you with a separate unique raffle ticket number (also printed on your ticket).  The National Lottery then pull out one of those raffle ticket numbers from sales within the UK and award the prize winner a cool £1 million.

There are also special draws, such as the one on 24th December 2010, when a total of 25 raffle ticket numbers will be pulled out of the hat (so to speak) to create 25 UK millionaires in one night.

How Can I Improve My Chances of Winning the Euro Millions Lottery?

Other than being able to see into the future and finding out the winning lottery numbers for a given draw before you even buy your ticket, the best chance of winning a major prize in a lottery is to create a syndicate, whereby several people pool their entries on the understanding that any winnings are split equally between members of the syndicate.

Many people set up syndicates at places of work, or between family members to pool their entries into lottery draws in order to reduce their odds of winning any prize.  However, the rules of the syndicates have to be carefully set up in order to cover the position if one player is unable to pay their contribution for some reason, or what happens to the smaller prizes and also to cover the position if someone wants to leave the syndicate.

The Official National Lottery Website contains a standard syndicate agreement which can help overcome the legalities and arguments which may arise when setting up a syndicate (for example, what happens if someone forgets to contribute one week).

Another way of improving the odds is to join one of the alternative online lottery syndicates - the one we would recommend is the UK based LoveMyLotto which offers packages starting from just £12 per month and for that fee, provides a range of entries for your online syndicate, including:

  • 2 entries in the Wednesday National Lottery draws each week
  • 2 entries in the Saturday National Lottery draws each week
  • 2 entries in the National Lottery daily play draw each week
  • 1 entry in each Tuesday and Friday EuroMillions Lottery draw (run by the National Lottery)
  • 2 entries in each UK millionaire raffle (run by the National Lottery)
  • 1 entry each day in the Lotto Plus 5 Draw (run by the National Lottery) (5 entries per week)
  • Each syndicate consists of only 21 people!
